The ERP team develops and maintains the ERP system which forms the basis of all Accell’s business processes. The ERP system contains all data and processes from the purchase of parts to the manufacturing of bicycles and the financial transactions. With about 1,000 users this is the most commonly used IT system at Accell. The scope of this system means that the team can carry out a wide range of tasks. Analysis of user requirements, the design, development, modification and testing of software and the final implementation. Currently, major developments are taking place to enable integration of the system with third party applications.
The ERP system is being further developed with new functionalities, such as Voicepicking, which are optimally suited for the changing business processes.
A good understanding of the data is essential when it comes to the improvement of production processes. The BI team facilitates this process by gathering data from the various Accell Group systems. Our state-of-the-art data warehouse is the basis for our reports and dashboards. In addition to the usual responsibilities, the team is also involved in a large number of projects to optimise data use within Accell, such as Master Data Management.

More than 22,000 bicycle dealers worldwide order their bicycles, parts and other accessories every day through our B2B web portal and app. This has been developed in-house and has a personalized look and feel for each individual brand. Our small team of front-end and back-end developers continuously work on the development of new functionalities which integrate an increasing number of self-services for the dealers. This means that dealers can also order other items, such as guarantees and price tags, in our portal.
Team Web uses the Scrum methodology, enabling us to work together in an open and result oriented way. We deliver new functionalities in 2-week iterations.
The ERP team uses short stand-ups to inform each other on a daily basis about the latest state of affairs and issues.
